 Children's
Education Fund
Those of us at the Today Foundation believe a quality education
is paramount for those who wish to achieve their full economic
potential.
However,
many children in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods are
denied the education they deserve.
That's
where our Children's Education Fund (CEF) comes in. We strive
to prevent great kids from falling into the category of at-risk
by:
- providing
scholarships that allow parents to send their kids to the private
school of their choice
- encouraging
the creation of high-quality charter schools
CEF
has partnered with the Children's
Scholarship Fund (CSF) of New York, founded by John
Walton of the Walton Family Foundation as well as Ted Forstmann.
Under this collaboration, the CSF matches 50 cents of every dollar
donated to our Children's Education Fund.
