Building Character

The Today Foundation believes that character can be built.

Character is an integral (but often overlooked) element of education and human development. Character and values help young people prepare for productive lives. They also provide resilience to the cultural influences which can be incompatible to responsibility, ethics and achievement.

With this focus on character, the Today Foundation oversees the Dallas Call to Character program, which instills the importance of character education in our schools, teachers and parents.

We also foster civic involvement for high school students through our Texas Leadership Forum.
