The Today Foundation believes superior technology can help create superior readers.

So, it has partnered with various educational experts to provide schools with an interactive, Internet-based reading curriculum. This curriculum has embedded within it a testing assessment and continuous-progress-monitoring features

The curriculum teaches children how to read and helps teachers and administrators identify students who are at risk of falling behind as readers. It also informs teachers and administrators as to how well their students are meeting their state's mandated educational goals.

The Internet-based curriculum:

• continually assesses student performance
• adapts its curriculum to individual learning needs
• helps teachers be accountable for their students' performance
• provides an ongoing analysis of student performance
